Building your Pro Makeup Kit- MUFE Flash Palette

I've been trying to condense my kit and get it more compact. Basically rid it of items I rarely use. I've read in makeup groups, blogs, tweets, Facebook and etc. of this palette being such a staple in Artist's kits.

I've heard Artist say that they can do so much with this palette! It was one of those "Must have" items for my kit when I purchased it. Upon placing it in my kit my first use with it was using the black as a base for a smokey eye. Ughhh!! Needless to say the black began to crease. I felt as though I had wasted my money! So here recently as I continue to condense my kit I was going to take the flash palette out but decided if it can do so much....let me google and you tube the uses for it so that I can get it's worth in my kit.

I stumbled across this video first!! I must say I was amazed! I also realized that I should have put an eye shadow primer down first before applying as a base for my smokey eye. Also now not sure if I'd even use the black as a base for a smokey eye anymore. Anywho I also came across a fellow blogger's blog on using this palette and it as well was very informational. Thanks Jessica!

Today I pulled my flash palette out and played with the colors, mixing them, adding primer and then applying the mix of colors. I find playing with an unfamilar product sometimes helps to find different uses for it and help you to become more comfortable with the product.

When I played with it today I made a contour, a blush, a shadow base and just mixed different colors on my palette to see how I could deepen or lighten a color. It was like being in kindergarten all over again!! Loads of fun! Lol

After watching this video I really wanted to share it with my followers. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who was stumped on it's many uses.

Have you purchased this flash palette? If so what are some of the uses you get out of it? Please share!
